Christmas in Kryvorivnia is one of the greatest examples of how we preserve ancient traditions in Ukraine. Due to the inaccessibility of the mountains, modern civilization with its urbanized society could not influence this territory where the Hutsuls live. The tradition of Christmas carolling in the village has been religiously observed for centuries. Every year the residents of the village gather in the church on Christmas day and start singing traditional Christmas carols. My photo project consists of pictures taken during 2022 year, but under different weather conditions. For the first time habitats celebrate Christmas on 25 December, in a move away from Russia and towards the west. It's why the Christmas was celebrated twice per year.
